About the Artist
Rosemary Ferguson Gathings is a local painter, printmaker, and business owner who graduated from the Mississippi State University School of Fine Art. Her brand name is based on the French phrase ‘La Vie En Rose’ — “Seeing life through rose- (or ‘Rosie’-) colored glasses.” Her bright pop, graffiti-style works are inspired by today’s modern artists while being influenced by her southern background — her goal is to capture the vibrance of life through eccentric personalities as her subject matter.
