Jacques Soulas
About the Artist
Jacques Soulas was born in France in 1957 and now resides in New Orleans. In 1980 he began attending the John McCrady Art School and later joined the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. He continues to participate in an annual exhibition of miniature paintings, shown at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts and exhibitions in prominent galleries throughout the Southeastern U.S.
In 1986 he opened the famous Café Degas restaurant, which he still co-owns. Mr. Soulas has had numerous group and solo exhibitions in the United States. Many of Soulas’ works can be found in corporate and private collections throughout America.
